Deadline for submission of thesis for First Semester 2011/2012 (only after appointment of the Thesis Examination Committee has been endorsed by the University Graduate Studies Committee)

• If the thesis is submitted before the deadline the student is required to register and pay RM350 only for First Semester 2011/2012
• For submission after the deadline the student is required to pay full registration fees |

Deadline for deferment of studies
Students may apply for deferment of semester up to the seventh week of the semester. Deferment after the seventh week and before the examination week may be considered only on medical grounds.
Students who defer the semester within the first two weeks of the semester with the approval of the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies are entitled to claim for a tuition fee refund.

NOTES:
• All international students must pay the HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS of RM316.00.
• For registration of course(s) starting September 12th, 2011, a late registration fee of RM100.00 will be imposed.
• A student who fails to register course(s) and/or fails to pay the fees by September 25th, 2011 will be dropped from his/her study.
• All students are required to register a minimum of 6 credits and a maximum of 15 credits per semester.
• All students in programme with thesis are required to register for Master Research (SPS5999)/ PhD Research (SPS6999) every semester.
