Deadline for submission online of Students Progress Report (form GS-11) for students under programme with thesis. May 8th, 2011

Deadline for submission of thesis for Second Semester 2010/2011(only after appointment of the Thesis Examination Committee has been endorsed by the University Graduate Studies Commitee)

  • If the thesis submitted before the deadline the student is required to register and pay RM350 only for First Semester 2011/2012.
  • For submission after the deadline the student is required to pay full registration fees.
December 10th, 2010 (A student who requires more than the stipulated maximum period to complete his/her study and fails to submit the thesis latest by December 10,2010, need to apply for an extension to the Dean upon recommendation of his/her supervisory commitee. Failure to do, the status shall be "Terminated (Exceeded Duration)").

DEADLINE FOR DEFERMENT for continuing students who did not registered for Second Semester 2010/2011:

  • A students who have registered for Second Semester 2010/2011, may apply to defer the semester not later than seven weeks after the commencement of the new semester
  • Students who defer the semester within the first two(2) weeks with the approval of the Dean School of Graduate Studies shall entitled to claim for a tuition fee refund.

NOTE:

  1. All international students must pay the HEALTH INSURANCE SCHEME FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS of RM316.00.
  2. For registration after January 2nd, 2011, a late registration fee of RM100.00 will be imposed.
  3. A student who fails to register or fails to pay fees by February 27th, 2011 will be dropped from his/her study.
  4. All students are required to register a minimum of 6 credits per semester.
  5. All students in programme with thesis are required to register for Master Research(SPS5999) / Doctoral Research (SPS6999) every semester.
