This field of study emphasises on the application of process engineering principles and concept of food processing operations. The area covers Food Engineering properties, process design, process modeling, simulation and control, cleaning of food process plant; designing of cost-effective food process machinery, developing of food products and value-added food products, and developing of new technologies on thermal and non-thermal processing of foods.
