HUMAN ANATOMY

Human Anatomy primarily focuses on all the essential intricacies of the structures and functions of the human body. This field provides a unique opportunity for graduate students who are interested in applied anatomy, and/or a career in teaching in a medical school setting. It offered multidisciplinary research of biological strcuture and function ranging from ultrastructural to gross anatomical levels, for instance, gross morphological anatomy, human embryology, neuroanatomy, neuroendocrinology, structural biology (histology), biological anthropology and cell biology, with major interest in clinically relevant anatomy and neurobiology. MSc in anatomy would be appropriate for students who want a graduate degree in anatomy to fulfill a professional need, e.g., physical or occupational therapists, etc. On the other hand, PhD in anatomy gives students the opportunity to achieve a high level of scholarly competence and to develop the capacity to contribute to knowlegde in the anatomical sciences.
