FORENSIC SCIENCE

Forensic Science is a field that includes study and research specialising in tissue decomposition, including environmental factors such as land and the role of micro-organisms as indicators. Forensic Science also covers the field of forensic DNA identification techniques, fingerprints, human tissues, bones and chemical analysis. Research in forensic science provides space in the development of current methods in the identification of forensic cases. Research can also lead to the development of reconstructive digital images from fallen structures. The area also includes research regarding the capability and role of animals, such as dogs that are able to identify human tissues, drugs, bombs or illegal substances. Forensic Science intertwines with various disciplines such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology, chemistry, molecular pharmacology and toxicology.
