April 26th, 2024, Serdang - Recycling practices are a significant part of the larger effort to preserve the environment and reduce the negative impact of human activities on the earth. It helps to reduce environmental pollution, decrease the use of natural resources, and minimize waste disposal in landfills. Therefore, once again, the Graduate School takes the initiative to collect recyclable items such as paper, cardboard, plastic, and glass to be sent to the Community Recycling Center, Presint 9, Putrajaya.
The initiative taken by the Graduate School to collect materials for recycling is commendable in supporting environmental sustainability. By promoting recycling practices among staff and the local community, we can all help reduce environmental pollution and make a positive contribution to the earth's sustainability.
By sending materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic, and glass to the Community Recycling Center, we not only help reduce the amount of waste ending up in landfills but also support efforts to produce new materials from recyclable materials.
May this initiative motivate more individuals and organizations within and outside Universiti Putra Malaysia to participate in recycling practices, making it a continuous habit in our daily lives.
