November 6^th 2023, SERDANG - The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) has managed the registration and distribution of the Prihatin Siswa RHB cards since June 2022. This initiative, spearheaded by the Student Affairs Division (BHEP) of UPM, is part of the efforts by the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) and RHB Bank Berhad to further facilitate the distribution of financial assistance or purchase discount facilities to students nationwide.

The collection of information from consenting postgraduate students for the account opening and card reception has been ongoing from June 2022 until August 2023. The distribution process commenced with recipients of the PTPTN Education Loan in August 2023 at SPS itself. This was followed by centralized distribution on the 3rd and November 2023 at Dewan Bendahara, Za’ba College, and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM. Almost 800 postgraduate students who registered for Semester 1 of 2023/2024 attended physically to collect their cards on the specified days.
