November 30^th 2023, SERDANG - The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) has showcased the success of 2,047 postgraduate graduates during the 47th UPM Convocation Ceremony, which took place over 6 days. Two sessions were held for the two UPM campuses, with Session 1 at UPM Bintulu Campus, Sarawak, on November 4, 2023, and Session 2 at UPM Serdang Campus, Selangor, from November 25 to 30, 2023.

Session 1 celebrated the success of 20 postgraduate students, while Session 2 witnessed the graduation of 2,027 postgraduate students. Both sessions were graced by His Royal Highness Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Al-Haj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj, as the Chancellor of UPM. SGS representative, Mr. Mohd Hafiz, attended the session in UPMKB to assist in the implementation of the postgraduate convocation.

SPS managed the postgraduate graduates from the initiation of the convocation notification process, issuance of ceremony attendance notices, gown collection, on the convocation day, until the gown return process and transcript collection. All members of the SGS community were directly involved in the success of both convocation sessions.
