UPM Vice-Chancellor accorded MSAE honorary member award

SERDANG, Sept 4 -
Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Professor Dato’ Dr. Mohd Fauzi Ramlan has been accorded honorary member by the Malaysian Society of Agricultural Engineers (MSAE) for his contributions in the fields of agriculture and food safety.

MSAE said the giving of the award was in view of Prof. Dato’ Dr Fauzi’s expertise in the field of Sciences.

MSAE expressed hope that with the recognition, the professions of engineering, technology and Sciences in related fields such as food and agriculture could be bolstered and emulated by the present and future generations.

As a society, MSAE is empowered in giving recognitions to individuals with excellent track record in the field of Engineering and Agricultural Science.

MSAE is a professional organization which was established in 1982 with the main objective of promoting the field of agricultural engineering and related careers. Its members are actively involved in the aspects of engineering, food technology, agriculture and other related industries and resources.

MSAE serves as a platform to further encourage the achievements of its professional members and expand partnerships and cooperation between science engineers, scientists and technological experts in agriculture and food sectors.

MSAE also acts in promoting and expanding the involvement of agriculture engineers on national food safety issues. – UPM.
